Lanka Plus provides a drop-in centre facility free of charge for all its members where services like accommodation and refreshments are provided. The drop-in centre consists of two bedrooms, TV area, kitchen, bathroom and seating areas.
Many PLHIV members of the Lanka Plus organization who live outside of Colombo, prefer to obtain their ART (antiretroviral treatment) medication at the STD clinics in Colombo. Hence those who travel from very remote areas often utilize the Lanka Plus drop-in centre for overnight accommodation, refreshments, rest, entertainment.
This also creates more interaction between the community members who make use of this opportunity to socialize with others who face similar issues.
