With the support of the GFATM New Funding Model, Lanka Plus provides a travelling fee reimbursement for its PLHIV members for their monthly clinic attendance. Since the taking of ART medication is vital for all PLHIVs, this project aims to encourage clinic attendance among the PLHIV community. Upon visiting a clinic for the monthly ART medication, the member will be given a travelling slip which he/she should forward to the Lanka Plus head office in Kaldemulla, Moratuwa. Once authenticated, the travelling bursary is transferred to their accounts. Currently, the reimbursement amount is Rs 1,300 per person.
